Grove Eatery - Shillong

If you are looking for a fine culinary experience in the heart when Shillong city, then this could be the joint for you. Or at least the next. I thought it was a sushi bar, but it's definitely more than that. The menu has a number of Japanese cuisine, but it is with an unavoidable Indian spin. Considering you're in Shillong, it'll happen. Overall a good culinary experience and good value.

This restaurant is understated. During my stay in Shillong I visited Grove Resturant 2 times and both times my experience was great. The place is at Bazar Police Station. The ambience is very positive. The staff is very nice, helpful and always smiling. Special mention of Bond here. He made our dinner experience very smooth. He was very quick to understand and serve. The cook is very talented and therefore the food was delicious. We had continental and Chinese.

It was a nice experience with food in food dining with some new dishes especially Rock Sushi was great!. The service was also excellent

I went in thinking it’s a Sushi bar but it’s definitely more than that. The menu has an array of Japanese cuisine, but it’s with an inevitable Indian twist. Considering that you are in Shillong, it will pass. Overall a good dining experience and good value.
