I have nothing against vegan or vegan food, I enjoy a lot of it, it is just that vegan vanillaeis is not very good. the Daft thing is the sticky toffee pudding itself is not vegan!
Very good food and delightful service, and in a lovely place to visit.
Nice environment Well spaced out tables Fairly standard dishes, done well, with some interesting specials . Gets busy .
Friendly service with a smile at Salt's Diner. Popped in for a quick coffee and cake with my family whilst visiting the gallery. The coffee is supplied by one of my favourite local roasters, Dark Woods and was strong and tasty as I would expect. We ordered chocolate cake, a frangipane and a Strawberry Streusel cake, which were all delicious. Good value in a great location. Will be back soon.
The restaurant is located in a stunning, spacious old wool mill that has been beautifully converted into a gallery and shops, complete with a lovely café. The charming Victorian village of Saltair, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site, features enchanting houses, a picturesque park, a canal, and a railway station.
