Circa At Clarendon - Shirlington

Underwhelmed with the food this time. the crab cakes were so so and the steak on the steak salad was tough. we typically go for brunch and consistently have an excellent experience. dinner was slightly disappointing.

We went to celebrate a college graduation. We sat outside which was very nice and comfortable. The wine and food was delicious. It took a little time for it to come out but worth the wait. The server was very friendly, pleasant and attentive without out being too much. Would recommend highly.

We were approached for drinks . Waited a long time to order food. No one ever checked on us. Had to hail down an attentive waiter to other guests for more drinks because he was the only person we could see. Waitress still showed up without a drink. Had to hail her down for dessert. Was there to make my daughter happy. She likes the salmon. Trout I ordered was tasteless. Just fried. No flavor. I hoped to get salt from a waitress but had to get up and get it myself. I think 3 woman approached us at varying stages but did not get dedicated service like other guests. Not sure if it was a bad night or I did not look a certain way.

Great place for lunch with old friends. The menu offers something for everyone. The service was great. We were greeted and served promptly, but not rushed afterward. The noise level was a little challenging for the person who wore hearing aids, but the rest of us were fine. Would return there in a heartbeat.

We had a delightful dinner at Circa last night. We sat out on the patio which was wonderful. I had the blackened chicken and mango salad and it was delicious! Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals. The service was great.
