Sawayaka - Shizuoka

One of the most famous Burger chain in Shizuoka prefecture. Prepare to wait at least 40 minutes during dinner and they do not have to reserve any options in advance. Waiting is worth it! Recommend to all people who love meat!

Really one of the best restaurants around Shizuoka. It is close to Shin-Shizuoka Station, just a few minutes' walk from Cenova department store. There is usually a waiting line that takes about 10-15 minutes. It can be shorter if you are only 2 people. We ordered her hamburger set that was amazing. They serve it on a hot plate and the cook comes to your table to prepare and cut the Hamburg steak and add your desired sauce. Truly a splending display. The restaurant also serves steaks for the steak lovers out there. I would definitely come back in the future to try out their other meals.

Sawayaka is so popular in Shizuoka. So you better hurry to get your ticket first before going anywhere. We got our ticket 4pm and we waited for 2 hours so we decided to go karaoke first. Anyways, the food was so good and they serve not more than 10 minutes.

Waiting 1 1/2 hours just to eat for 5 minutes might just be my favourite activity in any Japanese city. So far it’s always been worth it.
