Pearl's Southern Comfort - side

Good take on southern food, but as a southerner wanting a taste of home this didn't quite make the mark. Mac and cheese was very bland, crawfish cheesecake ratio of creme cheese to everything else made it also very mild. Plus side, those cat fish bites were chefs kiss. Moist, seasoned, southern. Not bad if you're hankering for a taste of home but don't expect too much

The food was good but it lacked a seasoning found in Creole cooking. It was my Earthday celebration so I enjoyed it. Don't know if I would go back though.

Pearl 's has outstanding food service! Jay, our waiter, took his time to answer questions about the menu items for our party of 5. He was kind enough to seperately bill us and went out of his way to correct a small complaint about a Mac 'N Cheese dish that came out luke warm. The only reason we didn 't give 5 stars is we swear there was no rum (or even barely detectable) in our $10 per drink Hurricanes. And we ordered 2 each, just to be sure! Server was so genuinely friendly even though he was under intense pressure because he was the only waiter! All the food was delish! Smoked wings, gumbo and shrimp-n- grits. Cocktails were a little weak. However, overall experience was awesome. Going back for sure!

First time customer. Wait staff very attentive and very pleasant. Food was delicious with a New Orleans flavor.
