Angry James Brewery - Silverthorne

This is my favorite hangout in Silverthorne. Every beer I?ve tasted here has been great. My favorite is the two tone footer stout. Many of their beers are available to take home in four packs, or take anything else home in a growler or crowler. The staff is friendly and informative. The patio is comfy and dog friendly. It?s not uncommon to see many dogs out there enjoying the day. I?ve heard the pretzels are great, but are available only Thursday through Sunday.

Great outside patio. Just serving pretzels but they were really good. You can bring in your own food. Beers were really good. We had sour and blond.

I really like the cabin feel of their brewery. Nothing too fancy, and good beer too. I thought the menu was interesting too. Definitely bar food, but I enjoyed the food and menu.

Went for trivia night with a bunch of friends. HAD SO MUCH FUN!!! Beer was GOOOOOOD. Started with a sampler and then some brown ones, ha, and ended with cherry sour beer. TART. All of us needed a driver... Top five good times last summer. The place is really fun????

Beeeeeerrrr! I don't know who James is or why he's angry but he's figured out how to harness that anger into excellent beer. Is there anything better than drinking beer in the mountains? For this Minnesotan, I'd argue no, there is not. I may be bias since Summit County and specifically, the Silverthorn/Dillon/Frisco area might be my favorite place in the entire country, but still.
