J Foster Ice Cream - SIMSBURY

If you're in the north of Connecticut, stopping J. Foster is a must! They have delicious homemade ice cream and a very generous portion size. The staff here is super helpful and friendly. I'm never disappointed when I'm over for an after-dinner contract. You have a variety of flavors, so it will always try something exciting and new when you visit. I had pumpkin flavored ice cream for the first time last week. It was love at the first bite. Next time I'm in Connecticut, I'll definitely be over again!

Their ice cream is the best and their sugar cones are fresh and crispy. Only negative is that they have no place to sit and enjoy so that we landed in our car.

It's a big ice shop. There is a wide range of ice cream, sorbet and gelato, with many topping and cone options. You can taste any taste you want. The people who work here are friendly and patient (even if your child cannot decide what they want).

Great ice cream. The staff is usually young people or students who make it a great place for younger crowds. Good selection and usually very clean. Many options for toppings...cones...and sizes. Definitely recommend. When busy, there's another one in town. One on 44 and one in Simsbury center. Outdoor seating make a huge plus and restorers nearby.

As always, J. Foster has some of the best ice cream. Staff here are always friendly, I recommend the cookie monster, never gets boring.
