While the portion sizes seemed small at first, they were actually just right for the two of us. The meat was cooked perfectly, and the spices really enhanced the flavor of the Biryani rice. It was served with sides of yogurt that had a nice hint of green chili. The fish fry was excellent, and the Kulfis were delightful as well.
The biryani, made with baby goat and chicken, ranks among the finest in Singapore, if not the absolute best. This restaurant on Shenton Way provides ample outdoor seating. Don't miss out on their chai after enjoying the delicious biryani; it’s guaranteed to delight!
Without a doubt, this is my favorite place for biryani in Singapore! The lamb biryani is an absolute must-try. I’ve also heard great things about the vegetarian biryani for anyone looking for a meat-free option, although I haven't had the opportunity to try it myself.
The restaurant is located just a few hundred meters from Tanjong Pagar MRT and Plaza. It is a very popular spot for biryani in the CBD area, so you can expect large crowds during peak hours. Don’t be surprised if twenty or thirty people come into the restaurant all at once! We had to wait nearly fifteen minutes for our food due to the crowds. I tried the mutton biryani, which I definitely recommend—it had a great flavor with the perfect blend of spices, and the meat was tender and well-cooked. The chicken biryani had a similar taste in the rice, but the chicken was a bit average in flavor. They also offer fish and vegetarian options, including one with egg. No curry is served with the biryani. The prices are reasonable. I’d recommend it!
