The small restaurant is equipped with air conditioning, which is a welcome relief as there is limited shelter along the row of shophouses. During my visit, it appeared that there was a buy one get one free lunch promotion, but unfortunately, it is only valid on weekdays. I forgot that reservations can be made through eatigo to secure discounts if you are unable to visit on weekdays. The prices are slightly higher, but it seems that the pizzas are cooked in a woodfire oven. The taste is above average, and the lasagna is also delicious. It has been a long time since I have had such good lasagna. It is worth visiting only on days when there are promotions. A side note: we observed a waiter using his bare hands to adjust the positioning of the pizza on the plate after the chef had placed it.
We ordered the Gnocchi Al Gorgonzola and the Julianna Pizza. The Pizza was delicious with plenty of toppings, but the Gnocchi was too salty and had too much parmesan cheese for our taste. It may have been prepared this way because this was our first time trying this dish.
The restaurant has a clean and cozy environment with very attentive and friendly service. The Wilma pizza was very cheesy, but I wish the crust could be more crispy. The mozzarella cheese went well with the sauce. The ravioli was also delicious.
Authentic and divine food. Pizza is great, not too thick like American style pizza. Calamari rings are on point. Dessert Tiramisu is splendid, and barely a hint of alcohol in the sponge fingers. The drinks are so so, and definitely no liquid gold served here. Prices are on the high side. But Singapore is no Bali; there are always higher operating expenses.
