Service was slow, and not comprehensive. We asked for lemons with waters, several times. Asked for crackers for a little kid, had to ask again. Generally was slow to get waters and drinks. Food was good but a bit slow. Fish and chips were good flavor but very skinny.
Megan Jade gave us fantastic service. Scoville was hot and delicious. I built my own burger with cheese, fried egg, bacon and peanut butter. Delicious. I'm a big fan of the onion rings. The 8$ drinks are my a favorite! I recommend the Gold Rush. Adjusting from 5 stars to 4 stores because: I returned a couple days later to purchase 2 bottles of Buffalo Trace for my brothers who lives in Minnesota. He saw my picture of the menu indicating it's $30 a bottle. The bartender informed me the menu is not accurate. She also told me it was Hand Picked. I paid the $40 a bottle and am delivering it safely to my brother's I the Twin Cities today I realize it is expensive to update menus but it's for to be more cost effective then misleading your customers even if it's unintentional. Overall an enjoyable experience both times I visited. Bummed it cost me$20 more than expected.
I went expecting more of a dive bar, it was nothing like that, it was very comfortable and the server was great. We were quickly seated and the burgers are great with plenty of variety. The BBQ sauce was almost a relish instead of sauce with interesting flavors instead of just sweet smokiness. Excellent food options Parking: Plenty of spaces available and maneuvering room
I have been to Barrel House many times. I like fish chips. Fish lightly breaded. I like half soup half salad- good price yummy. Pizza is delicious easy to take home. When I have coffee do miss flavored creamer.
