The water is clean and the sand is soft, making it a nice spot for sunbathing by the shore. As for the rooms, I recommend booking one with air conditioning, as the non-air conditioned rooms can get quite warm. The staff is friendly and attentive.
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The staff, including the owner, were very friendly and hardworking. The atmosphere was charming, and their dogs were adorable. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the amenities were plentiful. The portions of food were generous. The only drawback was that the location was quite far from the city. However, it was situated in a perfect spot on a beautiful beach with few crowds.
This well-managed three-star beachfront restaurant boasts an excellent and courteous chef, offering a wide range of European and Filipino dishes. The large, quiet, sandy beach provides a peaceful setting for diners, though there may be some challenges to overcome. Prices are reasonable, but don't expect luxury accommodations or high-end amenities. The staff are friendly and helpful, and guests can enjoy reliable WiFi for a small fee. Overall, this restaurant receives a global rating of 3 stars, but earns higher ratings locally in the Philippines (4 stars) and on the island of Negros (5 stars). Be sure to ask the staff for menu recommendations, as some items may not be available daily due to the use of fresh ingredients.
Big bamboo is a unique resort. the big bamboo is technically located on an island directly on the sugary beach and is dedicated to the local fauna, wave, wind, visibility and animal world. When I first arrived, I was warmly welcomed by an eager member of the team who went out of her to settle me, this is a big plus for this resort. their employees will do everything necessary to meet their needs. I asked the deluxe room. I quickly learned from the pros and cons. pros: clean, new, solid wood cabin. good A.C, ceiling fan, good shower, reasonably comfortable new mattress. cons: no tw, phone, wifi, refrigerator, sitting area, limited outsight unnecessary to say the resort is designed to the idea that they are in their room for sleep, shower, *hit, shave, maybe *ex! lol; but that you do not spend the majority of your time there. Rather they have a great beach, kajak, boat trips / island hopping, and more. the campus is a botanic pleasure. all kinds of unique plants and fauna there. moskitos were surprisingly economical. I saw two different types of frogs that I have never seen before my life, and a few unique yellow, short, fed salamanders that hunt up and down a tree. I was able to observe a large selection of colorful and linguistic birds from different species. unfortunately the two days I was there, it rained most of the time. there is pisonet Wi-Fi in the bar restaurant area, but it is not very far. Smart network works well there, but globe and other networks don't seem to work at all. when they go, make sure they have a SMART SIM card when they want to date and call privileges. I was frustrated without internet or shouted privileges because I only had globe and I was a little stranded there because of the rain. it would have been nice if the resort had some Sim cards for sale for smart. that would have made my experience a little easier. I have to talk about her. you wouldn't expect much of this kitchen. you would be very wrong. I had several dishes here that were really amazing. the fried lumps were the best I had traveled on the philippines for many years. super light crispy skin, with a freshly made filling of tasty chicken, cauliflower and other sweets in a perfectly balanced diving sauce. it was really dying! I also had her chicken wings that were done perfect and more than enough for a meal. in contrast to many Filipino restaurants they have perfected the art of braterei and have really made an excellent work with a series of dressed. I ate there six meal times and was not disappointed by anyone. Sometimes I have to ask for something more to be cooked, but they made it gracious. If I had to survive for the rest of my life on her eating, it wouldn't be bad. they have a perfect Phil/Am balance in their menu. They can definitely enjoy the experience there when they go with the right expectations. I'll be back in the future, just not during the rainy season.
Very nice will be going again Great staff, beautiful beach, nice room with very good quiet ac. Only complaint would be the room furniture. But didn't spend much time in the room.
