Overall an average experience with the food. Ordered prawns, mussels, bombil rawa fry and squids raechado. Mussels were nice, everything else was average. The raechado here is different than most others and bit too heavy on the vinegar for my taste. Portions were good, service was friendly Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
When all else was shut on Monday evening, they were a lifesaver! Simple waterfront local family run restaurant! Spoke to the lady of the house in Konkani, really loved all her food! We were 3 couples, had urack and seafood and enjoyed every bit! The famous squid might have been a bit overated though, but the prawns, mussels, bombils and xacuti were Service: Dine in
Great little place away from the crowded streets. Plenty of seating area in the outside section and a smaller inside section. The outisde section didn't have over head fans but had a few standing fans at the sides, but being so close to the water, the fans weren't even needed. Which brings me to the location bang across the street from the river. Lovely view to accompany the reasonably priced beer and delicious food. We didn't try a lot of stuff since we didn't bring our appetite with us that day. The mackarel fish thaali (pictured here) is definitely worth trying! We relished it. Parking: Parking for a few cars opposite the restaurant, across the street.
Worst place to have food. Staff is arrogant. Service is late. No one takes order. Food taste is not good.
