On the way past, we stopped by Siuro's Koskibaari to eat. When we got to the place, we noticed that it was an offer day -50%. We read a notice in the yard that told about the renovation. Place closed for about a month from 30.9.24 (i.e. closed tomorrow). However, we were still able to order absolutely wonderful pizzas with the toppings we wanted. When the pizzas were brought to the table, the portions were not at all flattering. But that combination of flavors was indeed a pleasure for the taste buds. The pizza was Siuro's classic, garnished with olives and garlic. The stomach was full and the service we received is worthy of thanks. The smiling, brisk and polite young person behind the counter urged us to come again after the renovation, and why wouldn't we? The food and service were excellent.

A fantastic place for food, drinks or coffee and cakes during the day, and a lively and fun landscape bar in the evening. Koskibaari has a long legacy, and the building is something of a historical landmark, with magnificent views of the lakes and the speeds that connect them, next to old masonry buildings. The place is a perfect place for summer refreshments, or for a warm drink on beautiful crisp autumn days, if the views are not short of stunning. For its historical value and beauty there is no parallel in the area, but it is also a cultural center for the Siuro-Linnavuori region. They offer lunch specialties on weekdays and wingbuffets every other Saturday or so. There are also karaoke nights and pub quiz (Only I believe). All this makes Koskibaari a must when you visit, and when you are from here, well... you know!

After the fall cabin empty day and as a result hunger. Since we try to avoid alphabet domes, the nose of the car was directed to a familiar and guaranteed place. The building, formerly a business, is located in a great location on the banks of Siuronkoski. If you're lucky, you can see if the catcher gets a catch. The bar seems very popular, and I'm not surprised. The service is casual friendly and the pizzas are delicious. Special praise for the oil marinated garlic on the pizza. We always buy a pizza for two women it will make you hungry and you will not be surprised by the request to cut it in half. Salads and pastas are also available. The terrace is barrier-free, otherwise not.
