Bruno's Taqueria - Slidell

Food is great, and service is awesome, very humble people.

Went on a Friday morning for a burrito. $8 and quick service for an excellent meal, I got a chorizo burrito and it was pretty good size for the price. I'll ask for extra salsa next time it was a bit dry for me but still excellent.

Went from our go to Mexican place to why do we keep coming back. Gave it several 2nd chances never again. The food and the service went from a 5plus star to a One star. Not sure what happened but the food is prepared like the person making it doesn’t want to be there and certain ingredients are left out like the meat. I gave it a three star because it has potential to going back to a five star. If they could go back to the way they were doing business a year ago. But do not eat here go somewhere else.

Absolutely amazing, burritos, tacos and rice and beans. Haven’t found Mexican this good since el paso. Oh, and I’m not hyping this up as some previous disgruntled people reviewed. I live 3 hours away and make sure to make this a weekly stop on way back from Nola for work. Almost forgot to mention they are very consistent! The food is exactly as I expect it every visit.
