We'll be back! Good food, served at the right temperature. Wonderful Rainbow Roll. Our server, Dominic, was so very kind to us. Music seemed odd, lyrics difficult to understand... Maybe not in English?
Great food as always, my waitress today around noon 8/18 was very nice and was smiley and looked happy to be there. Definitely recommend.
We were immediately greeted by a staff member the moment we walked in. She was quick to bring us to a clean table in the corner and she brought us a high chair for our child. The menu had many different options for ramen, which was exactly what my partner wanted, as well as options for extra toppings like mushrooms and extra seaweed. We ended up waiting quite a while for a server and had to flag down the girl who sat us to put in our order. The girl who sat us ended up taking care of us and we received amazing service from her. She was quick and attentive. She was also very sweet and thoughtful to our child. The ramen we got was so flavorful and hot. Also, at $15 per bowl of ramen THAT delicious we will definitely return!
Wow!!! After a year living abroad (post pandemic , I have just returned to Hemet and have been looking forward to my previously favorite Sushi Combination B at the Osaka restaurant. Man! I am sorry to say that the place has really gone downhill since I have been away. I walked in on a Monday (August 12th pre dinner rush at around 5pm and placed a to go order. I had a bottle of my favorite sake waiting for me in the fridge at home and was so o o o looking forward to some decent sushi sake. (Yes, my enthusiasm for sushi in Hemet is somewhat tempered, but at the very least I expect decent for $28.00. When I got home I soon realized, upon closer look, that 75% of the nigiri and the tekamaki roll was at least 36 hours old. In the case of the Maguro and Tako nigiri, it was more like a full two days old!!! It is unbelievable that they would send a customer home with sushi so old!!! Unbelievable!!! I called them and let the manager have it. He checked with the sushi chef and apologized profusely, but the damage was done, and I was in no mood to get back into my hot car with what I didn 't have the courage to eat for a partial refund. So Bummed! In my experience, Sushi chefs in the States are infamous for profiling customers ie: I can give this guy the crap because he probably doesn 't know Saba from Stater Bros. For what it 's worth, I lived in Kansai for three years, so I do know a lil ' sum sum about sushi. And yes I did eye the sushi chef when I came in (he was not the same guy , and he eyed me. The entire staff was unrecognizable for that matter save for one guy (probably the mgr . Such extreme employee turnaround is usually not a good sign. They did offer me a 50% discount on my next order, but we 're talking sushi here. You send a customer home with two day old sushi??? What the hell is that??? I 'll tell you what it is, it 's the ultimate form of negligence and greed. I guess I am going to have to stick with Samurai Sushi in the mall. So Bummed.
