The Regency - Solihull

We had a long-awaited afternoon tea and arrived early, but were pleased to be seated immediately. The service was exceptional and we thoroughly enjoyed a selection of sandwiches and cakes. Our choice of beverage was champagne, which was of great quality. Overall, it was a fantastic afternoon.

We spent a week at the hotel and although the rooms were not fantastic, the dining experience was very enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was delicious.

Dining at the restaurant was excellent. I enjoyed a well-cooked lamb burger, and my friend had the delicious scallops and chicken kebab starter. The staff was professional and attentive. The pool area was nice, but it's best to go early in the morning to avoid the crowds. The hotel is a bit dated but clean and good value for money. Its proximity to the NEC is a definite bonus.

My suppe was beautiful, but the burger was overdue and not really so big. the waiting staff was efficient and friendly. I thought the chairs were a little old and stained.

Got a deal which included tickets to Cadbury World up the road which included breakfast at hotel. Was a good stay, warm room, good bed, we had an upgrade to Deluxe I think they said, bigger bed etc. Cooked breakfast was fine, good choice of...options, cereal, toast etc. Overall great stay thank you.
