The beef was super tender and flavorful and the paella had an incredible mix of veggies. As a seafood lover, I was surprised I enjoyed the vegetable paella even more than the seafood one! Service was fantastic and the decor is fun and cozy.
This place has amazing vibe on weekend dinner time with many laughter, happy crowds that celebrate, birthdays and special occasions, a variety of cocktails, and wine. Here are several dishes that I recommend : croqueta steak with chimichurri Batatas bravas Here are several dishes that I do NOT recommend : Cheese and charcuterie board: really disappointed by such a small portion for a high price. Personally, don't think it's worth it. braised duck leg: meat was dry (moisture was significantly lost during the cooking) and the dressing was too sweet This place is not cheap. Again, vibe and service were amazing and I will recommend you come here for occasion if you are in the mood (I don't think it's easy to find a similar vibe like Dali in Cambridge). But some dishes might not be worthy of its price
5 stars for Julio the bartender. Sit at the bar with him and be instantly reminded of what good service should feel like. Warm, entertaining, and makes great cocktails. With that said every server, hostess, food runner, etc i interacted was nothing but pleasant and welcoming. What a great vibe.
The ambiance is romantic and Spanish. The feel of a tapas restaurant in Barcelona. We ordered four tapas which averaged about $11 each. The four plates combined were very filling. We also ordered a bottle of Tempanillo. The Spanish wines on the menu are very reasonably priced and quite good. The photo with my review are the Gorditas which are prunes wrapped in bacon and OMG are they off the charts tasty. Make sure to get your reservation in early. This place fills up because the quality of the food for the price is the best in Boston!
Can't believe I didn't try this place before tonight!! I always passed by and didn't think much of it until my gf and I decided to try Dali since our friend is visiting from out of town. And I honestly think that this is the best Spanish tapa place I've been to, in greater Boston area. The portions are just right, foods are marvelous and drinks are decent. Ambiance was really great and unique as well, we like how they re imagine the space as patio. For Tapas Frias Ensalada de Verano Refrescante : delightful and refreshing salad with touch of watermelon. For Tapas Calientes(hot Setas al ajillo : simple mushroom dish but delicious, good veg option. Patatas Bravas : nothing special. Queso Rebozado con Miel : my gf's favorite dish! sweet and salty with goat cheese, we had to order 2! Arroz Espanol : tasty spanish rice, what can I say more? Arroz Negro con calamares : my favorite dish, combination of creamy squid ink blakc rice and calamaries with garlic ailoli sauce can't be beaten. Gambas al ajillo : perfect bite with the bread that comes along with. Lomito al Cabrales : strong goat cheese smell for me but my friend loved it. Costillas de Vaca : Probably meat eater's favorite dish, it melts in your mouth. Must try! Veggie empanadas : They were great, comes with two! For dessets Churros : was okay, little blend. Crema Catalana : it is quite heavy but tasty, would recommend! Dulce de Leche Pastel Helado : highlight of our dessert! Loved little dark chocolate bubbles with dulce de leche around it! For drinks Ibiza : sweet and flowery Estrella Galicia Especial, Spain (They were out of Moritz : it was actually really good if you like lager, I am getting one next time! The one thing was that service was bit slow, although it was pretty crowded night. And parking might be the problem if you are driving since they don't have their own parking lot, but there are few metered spots on the road next to the restaurant. I can't wait to try their Paellas and other dishes!
