The Farmer The Chickpea - Somerville

I officially found my favorite dining place. I thought yesterday afternoon for my birthday dinner and I immediately fell over heels for this place. Fresh bowls of food were pulled out of the oven and ready to serve as I was sworn about the incredible tantalizing ads of meals they had to offer. My sister and I shared the Mac cheese baker, roasted chickpeas with veal, tomatoes, mozzarella and the sausage Mozzarella focaccia bread. I can honestly say that every single bite was as good as the last. The food goes beyond and beyond my expectations and you can taste almost the love care that goes into it. We followed our festival with a cup of rich, creamy hot chocolate from the hot chocolate bar (completely with bowls of different beats, from marshmallows to peanut butter cups), a fresh cannoli and a warm, gooey chocolate chip cookie (because calories do not count on your birthday). The decor was as beautiful and unique as the food. Between the laces hanging on the ceiling, the fairytale lights and the wooden planks where they serve your food, I was in a rustic/farmhouse/shabby chic sky. The staff were extremely helpful with a description of each dish and made us very welcome. To say that I cannot wait to go back is the understatement of the century.

This is my new favorite place. The chocolate chip cookie was the best I ever had. The atmosphere is so sweet, very clever. The food is beautiful and huge portions. All local farm source. I had the chicken pancake where you can put it yourself in the bowl. Amazing.
