Eli's Meat Pie Llc - South Daytona

I like to have this place on standby when I’m feeling homesick, but it’s not the pie you’d get at your local pub back home. I’ve tried beef and ale, and chicken pies so far, the flavours were good, but they were quite dry, lacking all the gravy goodness pouring out when you slice. However, it’s decent enough for shanghai, when you’re desperate for a slice of home. My big complaint the mushy peas are quite atrocious. I don’t know what’s added to them, but they don’t taste like peas any more, have a very sickly sour taste, and are neon green from the obvious food colouring! I would get another pie from this place in the future, but definitely no peas until they’re fixed. (Which is sad, because mushy peas are one of my faves!

Eli's Steak and Kidney pie was a delicious surprise for my English's husband's birthday dinner! My husband loves his meat pies and they aren't easy to find on this side of the pond. I was so happy to discover Eli's Meat Pie's! Eli is the sweetest person and her pies are savory and mouthwatering and taste just like they would in the UK. Go find her at the Daytona Beach Farmer's Market on Beach Street on Saturday mornings. You will not regret it!

The pies oh my god are amazing I love this place . So delicious and fresh . Even to get this delivered is perfect since it really is great comfort food . Pie , mash , peas and gravy just a wonderful taste of home cooking .

You know that scene from the movie Ratatouille where the critic tasted the meal his whole childhood memories flashed before his eyes And he almost broke down in tears? well that's what kind of happened to me here. After 17 years away from home New Zealand I passed this place by accident once I tasted it it was so authentic and so emotional words cannot describe. Ellie is the most wonderful kind sweetheart you would ever meet. The food is to die for. Recommended A+
