Restaurant is very comfortable and has a great bar. The menu is limited, but the food is good. Perhaps because it was the beginning of the season the waitress, while very nice, not overly efficient. Also, the bar service was very slow although there were very few customers. We actually felt that the bartender did not know how to make one of their specialty cocktails and had to ask for assistance. I expect that as the staff gains experience our rating when next we dine will be excellent.

Bartender provided a warm and welcoming presence. Loved our conversation and learning how to make a tequila Manhattan. Now to find chocolate bitters….

Every time I have been here the food has always been delicious. Their burger is always good as well as their fish and chips. My sister in law is always very excited that they have Indian Pudding. She says not many places have it for dessert. All ofthe desserts are made from scratch. The only time I had a not so good experience is when I ordered a mojito. It was terrible. I sent the drink back because I didn't like it. The bar tender ended up coming to our table and basically defended his drinkand why it is top notch. He infused the alcohol with mint. However, to me it didn't make it taste like a regular mojito. Theydo have a nice bar (to sit at) with many many drinks to choose from. Currently in December they are handing out envelopes witha surprise reward inside. The only thing is you have to come back in January and open it in front of a staff person. If youopen it before it is void. We were told it could have anything from a free drink to a free nights stay at the Inn. We aregoing to try our hardest to not loose the envelope and remember to go back in January.

Absolutely delicious. Champneys hosted my wedding rehearsal dinner, my breakfast before and after the wedding day, and my wedding dinner. Not a single bad thing to say. Servers were all attentive and polite. Food was always hot and delicious. You cantell they use good ingredients. I'm a picky pain and they were easy for me to ask to special order something which definitelyhelped me have a less stressful time. Lots of yummy cocktails and beers as well.
