I did not try the breakfast sandwich, so I would check the avocado toast and the service. the toast was standard. I like how the avocado was blown into a past textur (have avocado toasts otherwise where and some were cut avocado.) the taste was very mild with a hauch of citrus flavor from the sauce/clothing. each of the two slices of the toast was occupied with a 6 minute egg (kramei). it was interesting, neither good nor bad. also had a little laugh, it tasted a little stronger than I was laughing at elsewhere. the service was good of the cash I ordered with the waiter who came to take away our teller after we were finished. they didn't kick us out, even though it wanted a pretty busy thing I like. the only complaint I have is the waitress (old caucasian lady) who has brought out my toast together with someone else. they put my toast on the table of the other customer. as the customer pointed to them, it was not their order, the one in the other hand the waitress is their order, it has exchanged the teller. However, as I spoke on the other side of the way from the other customer (outside seat,) the customer and the waitress. I didn't know what they were talking about, but they didn't wear masks, and while they were talking, I was annoyed to look at them. I mean, it's out and windy, it can land dust on my toasts. at the same time I imagined the microscopic droplets from the mouth that land on my toasts. covid is still here and I wouldn’t want someone’s sparrow on my eating. Do they really have to stand and talk their 3 minutes while they order someone else? if the waitress did not pick up my order to exchange early on the correct order for the other customer, and if they were standing there and sent for another minute, I would have returned the order. if the management reads this, please tell their personal that it should not chat while they command someone else.
Local neighborhood cafe serving classic American breakfast. Many vegan and healthy options to choose from. They offer inside and outside dining. Pet friendly. Love their plants which are also for sale. It gets busy for breakfast but the service is fast. Parking is tricky but worth it. I ordered their bacon eggs with potatoes. No complaints. Bacon was cooke to perfection and so were the eggs. My child loved her breakfast sandwich. Small but plentiful. Fiancé ordered chilaquiles. She said they were a little dry and wish they had a hotter salsa. They only offer Tapatio. All in all it was a good experience and we wouldn't mind returning.
The atmosphere is nice and the coffee is really good. When you arrive, you order from the front counter and then have to find an open seat. Not the most relaxing atmosphere when everyone is fighting for a table... the person at the front counter even made a joke that it was a dog eat dog world when we asked about the seating situation... not exactly the brunch vibes we were looking for, haha. It took 45 minutes for our food to arrive. And everything was cold. But we did complain to the manager and they refunded us, so overall they were friendly and wanted to make things right. I think this is a decent spot if you go on a week day. But it was super crowded on a weekend and they just seemed under staffed.
S/o to Kimiko w/the Goonies throwback shirt she recommended the Breakfast burrito Mimosas. I selected the burrito and put a hold on the champagne. Nice atmosphere and love all the plants that make up the decor. It's like walking into a lovely greenhouse instantly your mood is uplifted. They have the fancy coffee so don't get overwhelmed by the choices. Plenty of street parking and the shop gets a lot of local foot traffic so that's a good sign this place is legit. There's indoor and outdoor seating for a nice sunny day. They are very welcoming and love first timer visitors kind of felt inducted into The Lost Parrot family. Enjoy don't forget to leave a tip!
Date: May 6, 2022 I've had this place bookmarked for the longest time and finally took the time to go out to try it with one of my best friends who came down to visit for the weekend. We stopped by Friday around noon and it was already getting crowded! Sadly their parking lot is tiny only like 10 spots) so we ended up parking on the street. There's a church next door but the worker said he wouldn't recommend parking there just in case you get towed. It's pet friendly since there's outdoor seating so we saw a handful of dogs out there which my baby loved! But we ended up sitting inside because it was so hot out! You order up front, grab a number and take a seat. We ordered: 1. Cobb Salad bestie got this one. She said it was good. Looked so small to me, haha. 2. Blueberry pancakes not pictured bc it came afterward) fresh off the pan as they were still super hot! Love that they use real blueberries inside and that the blueberries were fresh! My baby loved it. Comes with butter and syrup! 3. Matcha ice latte I was so looking forward to this but it was so plain it wasn't good : . Tasted like just milk with a pinch of matcha powder so really just a glass of bitter milk. 4. B.L.A.T now this was amazing!!! One of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life! It comes with their cilantro lime fries which are also off the hook!! Highly recommend this dish. I'm drooling just thinking about it again. And their aioli dressing was just perfect! Thank you guys again for the great hospitality and amazing food!! We will definitely be back!!
