Enjoyed a delicious breakfast this week. Not my first time ate the cafè and not the last. Tasty food and friendly atmosphere

I work for the local DNO in Preston and we supply electricity to over 5 million properties in the North West. We had a power outage local to The Orchid and I needed to find a local business that was willing to help me provide hot food and drinks to over 35 properties (120 people) locally with somewhere warm for them to come and sit, charge their phones, etc, during the outage. Linda and her family were more than accommodating. They served breakfast, lunch, and even opened up to serve an evening meal and served engineers too. Thank you so much for supporting your local community during there and our time of need. The support you gave us at the drop of a hat on that day was beyond anything I expected and the local community was so grateful for your hard work. Thank you so much Rachel

I had to come up to Preston for a car seat repair and was recommended to try The Orchid Cafe Bar for breakfast. This was an excellent recommendation and it didnt dissapoint. The Full English Breakfast was very tasty in a home cooked style at a very reasonable price. I would also recommend their Cappucino's in a Mug which were rich tasting so a definite thumbs up from me. The owner and her assistant were also very friendly /sociable which made for a nice visit. If you are in the Longton area of Preston well worth a visit.

Every Sunday morning, a large family comes to this restaurant for breakfast with a noisy young child who screams, shouts, and throws things. The family seems to think that everyone else should tolerate this behavior. To avoid this, sit on the other side of the building and bring ear defenders. Despite this, the food is excellent and the staff provide top quality service. It's a shame that some people can ruin the experience for others and affect businesses. Parents should control their children or stay home to avoid disturbing others.
