A family run business with a wealth of customer service. The staff are friendly and attentive very welcoming. The fish (Haddock Cod) was cooked to perfection and the Chips were chunky moist. I would happily recommend Alfie's to anyone visiting Southend on Sea. The restaurant is nicely located beneath the Pier.

We ate here today. The children had chicken nuggets, chips and beans £5 each) and my husband had the haddock and chips £12.90). Portions were a good size, chips were delicious and we were all very happy. Waitress was attentive and friendly.

My husband has been after the perfect chip locally for what seems like an eternity he has now found it! Amazing chips, very chunky, cooked to perfection on the outside and in, crunchy on the bite and soft inside. Very friendly, thanks Alfie!! Will return.
