Simply Seafood - Southend-on-Sea

I guess it could be a problem, but as far as I am concerned, if a business needs to remain a float thinking of their customers everything they needed to do is up to the opening times of the website to change that they are closed I...won Sunday, the 27th september was looking forward to a beautiful fish and chip menu that had in pastness I checked the website first and it said open at 12 when I was closed there

We simply visited seafood for a birthday dinner around the midday. the food was so fresh and beautiful. I had the garlic pans for the starter, which was part extremely generous and they were in a hot oil with garlic and also broth around the edge. the plate served. eat a lot for one! I had cod and chips for my head, the fish and teig was beautiful and crispy. the chips were fresh and were also generous. overall, large one to a service from both the waiter and the cook. will definitely return despite the 40-minute drive from home! would highly recommend.

So wellted, simply went seafood as a surprise for my friends birthday and it ended with half of us with the worse food poisoning ever! the service was ok, although the owner was a bit annoying when they tried to eat, I thought he had something wrong with him, but from other reviews maybe he had drunk? at least they avoid the oysters cost to all, I had to go two days sick from work and I will not go back

Visited with friends to dinner. a great meal, wonderfully cooked, and with great service from the beautiful waitress. they love the place to bits, but would have been better if the owner had left us alone on the table, and asked the staff who commanded to take over etc.

Just returned from a weekend in Southend. A definite highlight was lunch at Simply Seafood. Family run, personally supervised by Marius and his son Michael. Marius also the chef and lover of the best in fish. I had the scollop starter. Wow! Perfectly cooked and...3 whole scallops not slices: coral in place with black pudding, chorizo and a pea purée. The taste was that of a Michelin starred restaurant. My wife had the Cherrystone oysters simply wonderful. Then we both had turbot perfectly grilled. Fish heaven. If you are in Old Leigh Southend don’t hesitate. Just book and enjoy.
