Tonala Mexican - Spanaway

Coming back from visiting Rainier we stopped by this gem of a restaurant. Super friendly service, great food, and a welcoming atmosphere.

The food and service is always great! I have never been disappointed or had a long wait. No matter how many people are inside the restaurant, your server will always make several stops to make sure you're happy. The chips and green salsa is the best in town. One of my favorite places to have a quick bite to eat. Really love the food here!

If you haven't been... GO, NOW!!! This place was great, food was amazing and presentation was on point! The 3 of us had street tacos, Pastor, Asada, and lobster tacos. By far top 3 best tacos around! Highly highly highly recommend you try them out!!!!

My 4th trip to Tonala. I've tried a different dish each time. I've NEVER been disappointed. Always enough to bring home fir a great snack! Wonderful service too!! Update. Visited today... Cinco de Mayo!! As always excellent food. My favorite is still the lobster enchiladas. Spanish coffee hit the spot on this damp and chilly day.

Ok, I went to this restaurant because my friends have been recommending it for oh lets just say about 9 months now. So I finally tried it. Wow what can I say I was very impressed. Not only because of the food but because of what we spent on the the food and how much we had left over and we payed less then what we would have spent at any of the Fast Food places. Now not only that we ordered takeout. So my daughter and I had a chance to sit down and observe the interaction between the wait staff and the customers. The best way to describe it is, If any of you watched the show Cheers,? where someone walked into the bar and everyone said the persons name. It made you makes you feel like you belong.. I would definitely recommend it. As soon as you walk thru the door you feel like your part of the family.
