It is a great outdoor place to have lynx and refreshments. And breathe the fresh air. It is a family place to go where there is no alcohol. And I really liked that. I also saw it had a big screen TV there you can kick back and watch sports on it.
A fun and unique place to relax, drink something cold and get a bite. Located behind Bass Pro Shop in Bass Pro Shop blvd., in Spanish Fort, Alabama. Great place to let kids play when you bring them. Beer and cocktails available. Various food providers, park with a water sprayer pad, corn hole including tournaments, outdoor movies, events like car shows, and live music. Many parking spaces and wheelchair accessible. Clean toilets. So if you are looking for something else and something for everyone, try the Fort Park. from this helps click on a how and enjoy!
We arrived on a Sunday evening around 7pm... few places were open and free customers were around except at the bar. The Solly's Tex-Mex Cantina was open and wen ordered dinner to go, and started chatting with staff. They told us they'd been swamped, crazy busy up thru about 6:30pm even everyone headed home. The burger joint even ran out of food and had to close! We're so bummed we missed a great local joint! Our food was very tasty and we'd definitely return! Two kids' quesadillas and one brisket nachos was $34.
I wish i knew of this place sooner, its a very nice park. Theres many things to do here and it has a huge gazebo covered pavilion. The pavilion is first come first serve... nice for parties. While there, 5 families had parties going on at the same time. Theres a splash pad for kids, a large playground, a workout station, a nice feild to play ball, a walking trail. Beautiful water fall n pond that lights up at night. Also it has cute restaurant area... pizza, burgers, chicken n waffles, soul bowels, ice cream shop and a coffee shop. At night when the sun goes down the lights in the trees turn on giving a nice glow and while I was there, a single man band preformed. It was a nice day starting with my friends sins birthday party, ending it with the sun going down, enjoying the sunset, and a nice concert.
We went on a thirsty Thursday! Great choices of drinks including some international brands. Lots of families. Only thing I would suggest that it needs more seating. Other than that it was a great experience and a really cool idea, I think all parks should adopt this concept.
