Best pizza in town! Food tastes amazing, restaurant is clean, and the staff are great! Highly recommend.
My brother and I passed through and stopped at this place 3-29-2024 around 9pm. When we arrived, it took us maybe 5-7 minutes to be seated which I didn’t understand because there were only 2 tables being occupied and only 1 server. Eventually we were seated and I believe Paul was our server. When he initially took our orders I he walked away and came back with only our beverages and said oh I forgot your orders just that fast I need to write them down this time so I don’t forget. No biggie I thought, we asked him about the pizza specials and apparently there was a special for large 5 toppings for 12.99 and the boneless wings were .75 each. We ordered a medium sausage pepperoni and a large thin crust with extra cheese, chicken and mushroom. I also inquired about the salad bar and was told it was 6.99 I believe. I went up to indulge in the salad bar and to my surprise all of the vegetables looked dried out and aged, minus the wet ones like the pickles and carrots. The lettuce was on the verge of wilting and the onions were turning, I mentioned this to Paul before I indulged and he told me that he personally takes care of the veggies and makes sure they are fresh, when I showed him the onions he tells me that oh the water is at the bottom that’s why the ones on top are dry. I barely put a scoop of lettuce and croutons on my plate from what looked edible and was charged, again no biggie. We get our pizzas, my brother gets his first and it looks a little on the burned side but then again he had all meat so again no biggie, then my thin crust pizza came out and let’s just say I don’t think they followed my order correctly. There didn’t appear to be any extra cheese on it at all, in fact I know there wasn’t because I have ordered a thin crust pizza with extra cheese before and it was far more loaded than what I received. Nonetheless we are just trying to eat and get back on the road for our long journey home. He did continue to check on us and kept our cherry lemonade coming. Finally the bill came. Let’s just say that there was a problem with honoring coupons that were supposed to be added and Paul had to get the manager involved. I had to go to the front counter to figure things out with the manager and Paul was very apologetic about his mistakes and even mentioned that he would pay the difference out of his own pocket. I told him not to worry let’s just settle the bill. While we are waiting on the manager to close out the tabs because we were given 2 bills and not 1. The manager sat his phone down and apparently was too busy playing a hunting game on his phone while he is trying to close out our bill. Took him about 5 minutes and a couple of sorry about thats, not to mention he never gave me a pen so on both tabs I asked if I needed to sign and was told no but ultimately it slipped my mind to leave Paul a tip so I wasn’t privileged to do that either, it wasn’t till I got on the road that I thought about that and I really felt bad. Overall the guys were nice, nothing personal towards anyone. There were just too many incidents. We were probably better off going to Culver’s or Subway.
Ordered a large taco pizza soda for $28.77. The pizza was nothing but wilted lettuce and a few tomatoes. They didn’t bring plates, Parmesan, pepper flakes, sour cream, or salsa. Not wasting my money with y’all anymore!
I had ordered a carry out LONG story but wasn’t able to pick it up until after work I ordered it around 10am but the manager worked with me and even made it fresh since I couldn’t pick it up till after 3pm his name is Brian I think great service.
