This business is closed!!! The sign is still visible from highway 23 but this business is definitely not open any longer! There's not much open in Sprague. There is a post office, a small market, a gas station and the Viking Drive in. It would be nice if there was a restaurant in town that was open at night! The Viking closes at 3:00 in the afternoon.
The only spot you'll find open at night in Sprague, owned by the same people as operate the lone motel. We even noticed some of the same chairs in our motel rooms! Anyway, this is the best bar in town! Halfway decent selection of liquor, a pool table, and lots room to sit down. You could probably fit half there full-time residents Sprague in this building. Friendly service.
Talk about atmosphere! This place has it all: food, drinks, mismatched tables and chairs, bottled water, clean unisex bathroom (very progressive! , and a separate entrance for families! All kidding aside, the food is very good, fresh, and the lady who was working here tonight is fun and friendly. We're very glad we found this little place between Spokane and Portland.
This place recommended by motel clerk. I walked in with trepidation, after all it's a ghost town. Really not much here. However, we ordered the steak dinner. The lady here was by herself. Chief cook and bottle washer, bar tender. The dinner was good. Salad was fresh, steak cooked just the way I like it. Washed down with a Mikes hard lemonade.
