This store is a treasure trove of wonderful handmade items. Delicious tea, I recommend Montana Gold! The owner has filled their business with unique items for or for gifts. Some can be a bit expensive, but the time that manufacturers have to take on their wear must be great. I could have bought and bought. The owner is a wonderful lady who is so friendly and we visited in detail. We have a little too late in their store, and she let us browse for a long time after graduation because she had some things to finish. I don't know if she did it. I'll go back next time I'm green in spring. Don't skip!
Nice tea shop... and they have pie... 85 different kinds of tea. We had ours iced and it was delicious. The pecan butterscotch pie oh boy, I could've eaten the entire pie. There's also a neat gift shop/gallery associated with this business. I sorta wanted the Jimi Hendrix Skate Board.
We went in here today for an afternoon break. Both coffee and tea are served but tea has the largest selection. They also serve homemade pies, cookies and pastries. We shared a deep dish cherry pie with ice cream. Yum! You won't be disappointed if you stop by.
This is the cutest little tea shop. I had a few minutes to kill in Spring Green, and I decided to stop in to Bird of Paradise. There were several parking spots available right out front. As soon as I walked in, I was overwhelmed (in a good way by the variety of art displayed all over the store. I really liked the skateboards painted by a local artist, and the person working the tea counter was happy to talk to me about the artists and the upcoming art fair in town. I took some time to peruse the tea accouterments available in the store, including mugs and infusers, ready-packaged loose tea, and more. This is a great place to shop for a tea lover in your life! Then I meandered over to the walls of tea. There are many varieties available and again the employee was very happy to talk through any questions. There were four teas at the counter that were available to sample. I sometimes appreciate having more limited options instead of having too big of a selection to be indecisive about, so I tried a couple samples and chose from there. I got the Precious Eyebrows tea (that's a translation of the original name! , and it was a really good classic green tea. The treats behind the counter, like the chocolate chunk cookies and different types of pie, were very tempting. I didn't get any food this time, but I do hope to return! The store is also linked to an art and jewelry gallery that I was able to check out while my tea was steeping. There is also both indoor and outdoor seating and a couple of other shops right nearby to check out. Great place to check out.
