The Wheelhouse - Springfield

We've been customers of The Wheelhouse since their food truck days and since their truck was on the way home from work, it was a great place to stop. Haven't been to the restaurant in a minute, but ordered dinner to go last night and it was so flavorful and delicious! I've missed the great food and owners! The Mango Fried rice is A-MAZ-ING!! The food is always so flavorful with great quality ingredients.

Food has generous portions and flavor was on point! Service was great, drinks were good and then we walked to our room! Would stay here again!!!

A fun and unique fusion joint that has graduated from a food truck to a hotel lobby. It was weird going to a hotel for food, but it totally worked. This is one of few places in Springfield that actively courts vegetations and we’re here for it. I had the tofu orange chicken and my meat eater friend had something the enjoyed too. The service was quick and friendly. My only complaint is that my orange tofu needed a lot more sauce. Knowing this, I will be sure to ask for more should I find myself in the area again.

We were looking for a relatively inexpensive place to eat for our family of 4 and this place totally delivered. I got the kimchi fried rice and a quesadilla kids meal and also a delicious kombucha and it was $21! The kids meal was big enough for my 3and 9 year old to split. The kimchi fried rice was SO GOOD!! Has a little spice but not super spicy. Plenty of food for one butcould definitely be shared. The kids meal came with a side, a drink, and a little dessert. A really good deal! This place ISin the VIB hotel lobby but it?s so chill in there and perfect for families. A must visit!
