Yes, my wife already reviewed and gave White River Brewing 5 stars. Yes, I have a habit of giving every dog-friendly brewery that serves a tasty well-priced stout or porter 5 stars. However, White River's porter and ambiance is so good that I must change my grading criteria since I can't give them 6 stars. The brewery is warm and inviting. Michael, the owner, took the time to discuss the business and share a taste of his upcoming October stout (yum! , and we had a lovely visit with a number of the regulars (which reflects well on the brewery and the city of Springfield . If you've read any of my previous brewery reviews, downgrade them by a star. White River is the new standard against which all others will be graded!

My new fave brewery EVER!!!! Here on a Sunday afternoon to have a beer and watch some football. Had an IPA and a stout that were both amazing. Dog friendly, great ambiance. 10 stars!

Unfortunately I tasted 8 beers and they were all flat. Hopefully this is an anomaly.
