The food was served buffet-style with a variety of dishes including root vegetables, roast beef, and salad. I enjoyed the meal, especially the meat which was tender and flavorful. The only downside was that there was only one spoon provided.
The evening we went was very pleasant. good company, good food and we found it quite entertaining. the buffet was fantastic with jigg’s dinner, moose roast, moose stone and some beside dishes with dessert at the end. drinks were not included but available. Sod...hut could use some work on the outside, but inside it is warm and comfortable. would recommend.
Sounds good and it should have been a lot better. Buffet style dinner that was just awful! Only good thing at the buffet was the buns. The theatre was so bogus. The court judge, if you will, had no clue as to what he was...doing. After two skits, everyone left. Waste of time and money!
Group we were traveling with did dinner here. Interesting experience while in “Viking” territory. A bit of whimsy as the court master asks if anyone wants to charge another for court after dinner. All done in fun so a few laughs were had. Servers did...a great job dressed in period clothing and acting the part. Food was typical Newfoundland food and prepared well, buffet style. The restaurant is a Soddy and from the outside you’d never guess it was a restaurant.
A very relax and entertaining evening at family style tables. Actors did a great job of reliving the Viking life
