I had the Rib Eye with Pomme Croquettes and it was cooked perfectly. The Tempura fried perch to start was amazing! Service was excellent and staff were so friendly! I will definitely be back to try some other dishes!
From the moment we stepped into the restaurant we were greeted by a friendly hostess/server, Amy. After a quick response we were directed to our table of choice. The service remained quick, attentive and she was able to answer our queries in regard to the wine and food. Portions were reasonable as the main meal was quite satisfying. This is a restaurant you should give your attention to.
We had a wonderful experience. My partner and I are very experienced diners. Great cocktails, very nice (and reasonable) wine selections, food was fresh and well prepared. We chose to have many of the smaller plates in lieu of mains (we enjoy more variety). Oysters, perch, octopus, pork belly, featured salad with peaches and burrata, and lastly the rillette feature. Let's not forget about about the house made focaccia...yum. Emma was a great server! Skip the wineries and give this place a go! highly recommend. Excellent value for the quality of food and service.
Terrific spot for a classy evening. Service is always top notch, food is creative and meticulous. Lamb shoulder is a standout when on the menu. Awesome Sunday roast too.
I didn't know quite what to expect from this restaurant. I knew that the chef touts that pastas, sausages, and even cured meats are made in house. And that is an incredibly impressive thing to boast if it's done correctly and I was expecting it to be an expensive meal but lackluster.I was pleasantly and decidedly wrong. This restaurant serves some of the best produce and wines that Niagara and Canada as a whole can offer. Canada centric in the proteins pork, beef, and local pickerel smatter the menu with an impressive array of worldwide influences from Asian to Italian. The sole focus being on fresh Canadian ingredients served with care. Taking the server's lead for their favourite dishes, I was delighted with the tempura style perch light and flakey, against the perfectly seared duck breast for a main. Pink and juicy without any hint of gaminess. Ending the meal with an apple crumble with enough tartness to make sure your palate isn't blown out, I will say that this meal can rival anything in Toronto, and the prices weren't bad at all.Definitely worth a stop if you're looking for a fantastically curated meal, and ask your server to lead the way.
