Nice place, though it felt like it took an inordinately long amount of time to get a pizza.
We are out of town guests from Ohio. We usually love the pizza at Giordano's but we go to the Lombard location; well we tried the St. Charles location and the pizza was inedible. It was not cooked and the wings were mediocre at best. Very disappointing. The service and atmosphere was ok, but the pizza was a huge let down. We got Home Run Inn pizza today to take back to Ohio. Fantastic.
Had a reservation for 13-15 people on a Saturday at 3pm. Our waitress was doing her best and honestly needs more support. She was clearly in pain and handling bar/tables all by herself, which shouldn’t be the case at any time of any day but especially a weekend. Our party had some major delays (again not the waitress’ fault) and it was very evident that parties around us were upset over long wait times as well. Food was great and what you would expect of a Chicago chain staple but hopefully management sees this and understands how important it is to properly staff. If nobody wants to work at the location then maybe the working conditions/benefits aren’t on par. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available
It was the first time, I must say that it is a particular but good pizza. Must try in Chicago.
