Had the lunch special for Thursday... Hamburger steak, mashed potatoes and peas... WAS SO GOOD...
Wanted to try muffaletta and authentic beef po boys. This place did not disappoint. Very generous servings, friendly staff, interesting ambiance. And the food was amazing! It took my husband and I two days to take down that muffaletta. It covered an entire dinner plate. We recommend ordering something to eat in (we had po boys with fries and corn fritters excellent), and getting the muffaletta to go. The sandwich just tastes better after overnight in the fridge.
I've never had an issue with any of my food and I've eaten here plenty of times. Definitely give the Ferty a try if you're in to roast beef sandwiches but my personal favorite is the half shrimp/half fish poboy
We found this gem coming back from some plantation tours as a recommendation from other reviewers. What an excellent find. The owners were so nice to help guide us on some options, you really need to give it a try. All portions are huge and deliciously cooked to order. I suggest a half Ferdy half fried shrimp Po-boy. Best of both worlds. Or a fried shrimp salad, I bet you get half pound of shrimp on both. Sides are extra, a small fries is enough for two adults. The restaurant is very clean and friendly. Don't pass it by, one of my top ten places.
