Guess again: The terrible sound system ensured that everything was too quiet... and then everything too loud when you turn it on a notch, and everyone was subject to the terrible taste who monopolised the music! Start with some tolerable Shania Twain, who loves every Newfie, at several breaks of silence after the Six Flags motto song to maybe the Hamster Dance! Who cares? Not the Sundance! I was in a series of clubs, but not with such bad crowd chosen music interspersed with silence and thus booing from the crowd, only to be replaced by worse songs that are also interrupted halfway through (as if crowd chosen **** was not bad enough). If it was consistently bad, I could get drunk enough. But it was not consistent everything; there were some of the worst two hours of my life. If I had so much disgust, I would have just crashed a middle school dance. ****, I can't believe how little the owners care about the mood of this place on a Friday night. Skip this place.
It was a beautiful sunny day we were meeting friends at the Sundance patio for a few drinks after they finished work on a Friday. We arrived to get the last coors product as they were not serving any Molson products??? No non alcoholic...beers available
6 of us had drinks and lunch here on Sunday afternoon. We sat on the outside patio because it was a beautiful sunny day. We had a bucket of 5 beer that cost 20.00 and ordered burgers, tomato soup(very spicy) nachos, falafel wrap and noodle...bowl. All the food was delicious but we waited a long time to get our food and the service was mediocre. The washrooms were disgusting. None of the stalls had toilet paper and the waste basket was over flowing with paper towel. They smelled terrible and haven't been cleaned in quite some time.
The menu was cruel, the service was slow. Prices for what you get are ridiculous. Pounding music in the background, pretentious idiots fill the place. Never again!
This was the best meal, the BEST value and the best experience I had in ANY St. John's restaurant. The portions were generous and the taste was excellent. We went to many popular places and were not impressed. We choose the Sundance because... he had a terrace and it was a hot sunny day. We will choose it again and look forward to our next trip to Newfoundland.
