I was given the opportunity to do a photoshoot for a real estate magazine, as I am CeCe Ellis, a Realtor with Ellis Luxury Homes Team, and I found the experience to be incredibly beautiful. The restaurant is now my go-to spot for both great food and stunning photos. Plus, they offer delicious gluten-free options as well!
The margaritas were good, but we had trouble finding our waitress. The manager ended up bringing us our drinks and taking our order. The street tacos AL pastor were overly salty, and the Oaxacan grouper was bland. When our server finally returned, they provided minimal service when we asked for more salsa and another drink. They mentioned they were understaffed, which caused the delay in serving us. The only standout dish was the rice. The manager provided excellent service, but it seems like the rest of the staff could benefit from better training. Overall, not worth it for the food quality.
I just went for my manager boarding party and it was okay. The atmosphere was that of a Mexican restaurant, so beautiful the art on the walls and ceiling, staff was very warm and friendly and the food was decent. I couldn't eat anything because I'm very fast, but the only complaint I have is that I wish the nacho chips were thicker to grab and hold the food that's eaten with it. Each of my chips broke when he scrubbed food, it was very frustrating. Overall, if there is no other event, I will not return, not that it was terrible, it is just not for me and that is okay with me, blessings for each of the employees and customers who do there frequently.
I absolutely adore this restaurant. I make it a point to come here for lunch every Friday. I like to sit at the bar to avoid any wait time and enjoy the knowledge and recommendations of Candice, who is an expert on tequila. The Mexican food here is top-notch, and my favorite dish is the fried fish tacos. The chips are thin and crispy, and the salsa perfectly complements the local flavors of the dishes.
The restaurant is a lot larger than it looks. The atmosphere is very energetic. There is even live entertainment. However, this meant it got quite loud. Food-wise, it felt above average. My friends liked their alcoholic drinks. Our waiter was a funny young man, but messed up a few details of our orders.
