The owner welcomed us at the entrance and helped us find a table. The food was amazing and the portion size was generous, too much for just the two of us. We ended up taking home leftovers. What a fantastic restaurant!
I ordered the #3 with 2 crab clusters, but when my food was brought to me, one of the claws was broken and had no meat in it. The restaurant refused to replace it or give me a refund. I expect to receive 2 full clusters when I order 2, especially since the claw is the best piece of meat. It seems that their no refund policy is just a way to rip people off. If I spend $50, I expect to get what I paid for.
I recently dined at this restaurant with my family and we were blown away by the delicious food. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We had the opportunity to meet the owner, who was extremely helpful in guiding us through the menu and engaging in pleasant conversation. He made us feel right at home and I can't wait to return on my next visit.
This was my boyfriend and my first time going here. It was really good and definitely will be recommending to friends and family. We split the loaded platter between the two of us, which we both enjoyed plus they gave us a sample of the shrimp and grits to try and I personally didn’t like it all too much but my boyfriend loved it.Kid-friendliness: They’re a laid back environment there was a family who was also there who had kids probably ages 6-12.Parking: They have plenty of street side parking but there’s also a lot of shops so if it’s busy you may have to park down the block.
Love this place, have met the owner personally and he is always really friendly and loves to greet customers. Sad that this place is in a location that people avoid, but anyone who decides to come usually leaves satisfied. Some of the best seafood boil I've had and the only place I go for seafood boil in St. Louis.
