Papa's - Stillwater

Papa's has a beautiful view, kind and courteous staff, and excellent food to boot. We came here for a Stillwater date night, eyes shimmering with the joy of connection and passion, only to find that alas, they were closing down the kitchen ?. But all hope was not lost... The staff kindly let us know they could still make something if we put it order in quickly. So we did, settling on flatbread, a sandwich, and tuna starters. Everything came out quickly and beautifully prepared! It was a delightful, as was the company and the glorious glow of the city and the fall colors.Truly a magical experience. Thank you staff!

The food was really delicious. However, the menu is strange and it feels like only lunch food. The views are delightful. And overall the food is quite expensive for what you get.

Great views, terrible food. There were 9 of us and the majority of the food was overpriced and ranged from mediocre to downright unacceptable. The flatbread pizzas were awful. Consisting of pasty tomato sauce and hardly any cheese, cracker crust with no taste. Should not be on the menu. Look, I never leave reviews like this but it was shocking how bad the pizzas were. For $18 it’s a terrible value. I will say the views were nice and the staff was friendly.

Great service from our server. Horrible execution from the kitchen/restaurant. Should not take 30+ minutes for a cold Mediterranean Plate. Finally gave up waiting, paid for our drinks, and left. Wasn't even busy Saturday at 1pm. Tables around us had similar issues.

Food definitely is not worth it. The bread that came with the Baked Brie was hard, the Mediterranean Plate was absolutely nasty, not much flavor and the crackers it came with were horrible and stale as well. The apps were not worth $18 each, maybe $6 each. I didn’t even want to pay for the meal, if you have expensive food on your menu, make it worth the price. It took an hour for them to get out one flatbread and two appetizers! They didn’t even give us our other flatbread.
