Website Posted close time was different .most would give less stars We saw one lady running around serving all tables one busser. our food took extremely long because of an ingredient availability issue? Great atmosphere history here. Just be patient during this time . Play it safe and order the pizza- that's what most of the locals seemed to be doing
They are your basic seaside café but the food was good and the staff was friendly, especially for being as packed as they were!
We got some pastries from the Parkside Cafe Bakery shop (there’s also a restaurant and snack bar . I typically don’t go to places that have under 4 stars on Google, but a friend from the area recommended the place. The pastries and sourdough pizza slice were fantastic- and hit the spot after our hike down Steep Ravine/Dipsea trail. I would caution that anyone with food allergies ask about what’s in the pastries and pizza, as things are not labeled in the case. (My pizza had pine nuts that I wasn’t aware of until I started eating it. I’m not allergic, but there were not ingredients posted for this. I’m guessing some of the poor reviews about this are less about the bakery/bake shop- so give it a chance if you’re nearby!
Met with friends for dinner, the food was good and we all enjoyed being seated by the fireplace.
Lovely sunny room with fireplace and delicious fresh food. Service pleasant but a little distant. My fish tacos—$28.!!!!—-were a do it house affair both messy and not really suitable to making tacos out of ingredients supplied. Nice piece of fish regardless
