I enjoyed the three turkey roasts and one beef roast that I selected, but I would have preferred to eat from a regular plate rather than a wooden one. The dessert choice was a breakfast brunch which was satisfying this time. It would have been nice if ice was included in the price. The staff was fantastic - friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning.
I brought my girlfriend to this restaurant for Valentine's Day. We had a two-for-one deal on the main course, but the voucher we had stated it could not be used on Christmas or New Year's dinner. Despite presenting the voucher upon arrival, we were informed that they had emailed us about the voucher (which they did not), and that it could not be used for Valentine's Day. When we explained the situation to the person at the front desk, they insisted the voucher was only for Christmas or New Year events and could not be used. Normally, I would have left and gone elsewhere, but since it was Valentine's Day, I wanted to treat my girlfriend and most other places were fully booked. We decided to stay and dine, although we were not in the best mood. The food itself was excellent, although I'm not sure it was worth the £30 per person.
The food was good, but the restaurant was completely empty and lacked any atmosphere. Besides us, there was only one other table occupied. The bar was closed due to the lack of customers. It's a shame, they must be struggling for business.
Very friendly staff! However, we waited until a blessing passes and our dessert order that we have abandoned and abandoned!
Don’t bother eating in here . Stick to the bar. Service poor food average, absolutely no atmosphere and twice the price of the bar food which looked lovely
