China Palace - Stockton

Love China Palace. this is one of my childhood spots. I remember coming here for their dim sum. their dim sum are huge portions and delicious. Although I do think they are overpriced, it's still a good try!

$50for bbq Sweet Sour Pork, Steam Rice ,BBQ BBQ Pork Chow Mein delivery Pork was a bit overfried, steam rice on point, chow mien was so good, expensive but good. I prefer CHINA VILLAGE it $10 off signing up for door dash pass

Absolutely disgusting! Chow was undercooked extremely chewey. Orange chicken was rubbery with no flavor. Fried prawns had a weird corn meal crust that was soggy. Just moved here was excited to find new restaurants. Will NEVER order there again

The roasted duck was amazing as always. Roasted pork was salty and chewy, it didn't have the 5 spice flavor and the portion is stingy for the price, it was not enough to share. Prawn in garlic sauce is okay, there's not much shrimp. Ginger Beef and the eggplant in garlic sauce had the best flavors! Chinese broccoli is as expected and it goes well with the salty dishes. Chowmein is aight, not too much flavors which was a bummer but it helped balanced the rest of the seasoning dishes. But I'm happy that they switched to plastic containers for the soupy and saucey dishes because last year I ordered tomato beef and it melted the Styrofoam takeout box.

The Combination Won Ton Soup was Delicious. It arrived hot, and was very hearty. Plenty of meats shrimp and the won ton was prepared just right. I am a huge fan of wor wonton and combination wonton soups this was my first ordered from China Palace and I was not disappointed.
