Contribuisci feedback4/5 for concept and quality. It would 've been 5/5 but the service deducts the rate.My wife and I just got home from eating there for the first time. We walk in to find the movie Avatar starting to play. We place our order and sit down. Shortly guests at the other table leave. I 'm enjoying watching the movie, then shortly after my wife got her food some time after I got mine, right at about 7:15 PM, the kid behind the counter suddenly changes the channel to some football garbage, bearing no mind or consideration towards me, the guest, who watch watching that movie. I turned away for a minute because it went to commercial and this kid didn 't even bother to ask me if it was okay to change to some stupid sport he clearly wanted to watch. All in all, it was a great first impression for food but a horrendous first experience for service.Had he just left the TV be until I my family left, I would 've given all 5 stars.A Karen would bark or leave a 1/5 review, but I 'm not reviewing service alone. This place is well worth a try and I plan on going back again. I just hope that next time someone doesn 't rudely go ahead and change the channel without first consulting their customer. That basically told me that the kid did not care at all about my business; that, "Oh there 's only one table of guests here so screw the customers. "Try the food, you won 't regret it.Don 't let the negative parts of my review keep you from giving it a try. It 's worth it.
This place is small but has enough room for a few full tables. The chicken had crispy edges, and the Buffalo sauce that they mix with Bleu cheese is fantastic. The fountain drinks were rich in syrup. The staff was kind and thoughtful in their checking up on us.
I showed up at 8:30 hoping to get some food and good service before they closed at 9. Usually when a business is getting ready to close the employees become cranky but the two employees working were very cheery and helpful. They have 7 different sauces to choose from. The concoction of chicken and waffle is certainly a nice variety. The chicken was well breaded and I loved the cinnamon syrup taste. I got macaroni which was very delicious and not dry as I've experienced in the past from other eateries. I also ate the corn and this was just as good. The employees took pride in the presentation of the food and the customer service was top notch excellent. I rate this place 5 of 5 and highly recommend you give it a shot! Don't miss out!
Heard about this place decided to give it a try tonight. I was the only customer on a Saturday night about 6:30. The workers said they're real busy at lunchtime weekdays. Waffle cone stuffed with chicken bites and your choice of one of five sauces. Tonight I chose maple syrup to keep it easy with a side of seasoned fries and a tea. Fries at a pretty good Pace with the season coating ahead on there. Didn't even need ketchup. The chicken inside the waffle is a good concept and tasted pretty good. The chicken could have had a little bit more flavor either in the meter on the breading to give it a little more pop so to speak. Waffle cone tasted really good. After I finish there was no waffle cone or chicken left on my plate. Corner of Hildebrand and McCullough in San Antonio certainly encourage you to give it a try
As advertised, it’s chicken in a cone. Good fast food, though not really a meal on the go since the chicken tended to scatter. Would be very hard to eat in the car. The cone was tasty. You can have the chicken tossed in sauce or on the side. Addl sauces cost extra there was a credit card fee of 29 cents. Wished they served ketchup. Should I return I’ll try the kickn ranch sauce and I didn’t like the peri peri sauceKid-friendliness: Kids meals available
