Sweet Mustard Sandwich Shop - Stratford

At Sweet Mustard you are always greeted with a smile! The woman who works the front counter is always very friendly. I have a Saturday ritual of calling right after work ends, around 1PM, and pre ordering my food. They have a very high end stove that needs about 45 minutes to wind down so they stop doing hot subs about 45 minutes before close, so that means you need to get your order in early! It is worth planning ahead, as everything they have ever served me has been phenomenal. It seems like everything is their specialty; but try the foot long hot dog with their spicy mustard! A portion of their menu has a theme seeing their close proximity to Sikorsky Aircraft. I am hoping that one day I might get my name on the board as well. Anyway, do not take my word for it, go down and try anything on the menu, it will certainly satisfy. This coming from a very critical reviewer. P.S. It is probably because of the personability of the staff, but they just make you feel welcome, which lends to the overall excellence of this small wonder. I just love doing business where the people love to work! Oh and the food is that good!

Great little shop. There are a lot of foodie-attracting options on their menu board, but you can ask for (and receive) a plain turkey sandwich with no fuss. Reasonable pricing and extremely quick service.

What a great place. Food is fresh and delicious. Easily one of the best sandwich shops in the area. Could have eaten a second sandwich since the first was so good!

They make the best soups and sandwiches! The staff is always happy and willing to do everything to make sure you leave with a smile. The best place for lunch!!! Too bad they are closed on Sunday :
