Homey food and an extensive menu. We also got the pork rib soup which was really hearty and exactly what I craved.Pork stirfry is smokey and delicious.Rice is purple rice, which is rare in restaurants.Reasonable priced. Will come back again.

Extremely disappointed by Hangang as my boyfriend and I are regular customers! Well were. We usually go there because of their cheap prices in comparison to other kbbq places however, this time we went, our safety were on the table not the food. While we were eating the air vent above the grill loosened and fell down onto our food then onto my boyfriend. Not only is that a WHS breach but I'm appalled by their lack of good customer service. We told the male worker straight away and instead of apologising, he blames it on us and says "did you touch it?". Throughout the night, the workers were unresponsive regardless of us continuously putting our hand up and calling for customer service. I'm extremely disappointed as they didn't apologise at all or ask if we got hurt, neither did they reimburse us for the food that got dirtied on the grill or for anything else. Went to Strathfield craving some Korean Barbeque and decided to go here. I am a regular at this particular restaurant because of the cheap prices and accessible location. Little did i know that these low prices cause them to throw safety out the window. As me and my girlfriend were eating, the air-vent loosened and the metal extension fell down, hit the grill and fell on my food and not to mention myself. Luckily i was not burnt or harmed in any shape or form. This restaurant is cheap for a reason, they already have stripped adequate service to their customers... and now they have compromised the safety of their restaurant. The air vent was secured by a flimsy piece of aluminium foil, and ripped without needing to be handled with. Previously i would recommend this restaurant as it is a bargain. Now, since the customer's safety has been compromised, i would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
