Happy Hour Margarita was good and our waitress was great, which makes me feel bad writing this. That being said, truth is: the Queso XXX was Tostitos cheese from a jar, chips were crumbs mixed from different bags of chips, and the chicken was store bought frozen from a bag. Still, the chicken was burnt, yet cold and flavorless. $72 later, 80% of our food was left at the table and we are still hungry lol.
I've been coming to mad mex for years but only recently started to come to the south hills location. It's great! And the vegetarian options are delicious!Vegetarian options: The vegetarian fajitas are so good and I always have left overs for the next day. Delicious!Parking: Parking in front is easy to get in and out of. Parking on the side is at a strange angle and incline and can be tricky to maneuver in and out of.
Really like this place; good for a non-fast food lunch, and the staff is always incredibly kind.
Big portions, lot's to choose from. Good beer list. Reasonable priced.
I just don’t understand how a restaurant can be so inconsistent. The first time we ate here it was delicious! The second time horrible. We thought maybe they were having a rough night. The third time delicious! Today, the salsa tasted like tomatoes and lime juice. The steaks from the fajitas was so bland that my boyfriend who eats everything didn’t eat more than two bites. We will not be back! I could have burned $50, and felt better about it! Follow the recipes, it’s not that hard!
