May Mei Chinarestaurant - Suedheide

Yesterday evening my wife and I visited the Restaurant May Mei in Junkerstrasse, Hermannsburg and were both very impressed initially by the layout and the friendly welcome we received. We chose to have their Menu 2 for two people. The soup was delicious and was followed by some baked won ton pastry accompanied by a delightfully spiced dip. The main of strips of beef with a chili seasoning and crispy fried duck breast all served with seasonal salad and vegetables and accompanied with fried noodles was equally delicious. Our sweet of Baked Banana and syrup complimented all before and we left there both declaring that this would not be the last time we would visit.

We went here for a leaving party, the restaurant laid on a buffet style menu which was really good, a lot of choice and it was kept topped up all the time. The staff were friendly and efficient. Will be going back.

There is nothing you can do here in food and service. The food is freshly prepared, the portions large and the service attentive. The latter is also due to the fact that the entire restaurant is easy to handle, which makes it not difficult for service workers to look at the guests. This makes the ambience too short. During my last visit I sat directly opposite a friend at a 4 table at the window and still had great difficulties following him. The reason for this was 2 guests who spoke so loudly in a separate room when the door is open that despite the distance of about 8m more than clear to understand. In addition, customers were constantly passing by us who picked up their food. Therefore there was no really cozy atmosphere. In the future I will only order and not eat directly there as long as the place has not been properly redesigned.

The restaurant looks more like a Slow Food 0815Bude! The facility was cold, and the operation, has understood nothing or felt 4x, and then the dog of the restaurant owner blew and has run a constantly between the legs, pulse point of the dog's name! Plus point is also available for food it was delicious and the last star is available for colorful toilet paper! Absolute NoGo the tablet where Chinese YouTube music videos were played with was laid on the table next to or before the kitchen, with always a same video!
