The original Mexican food. Angel is the best server I've ever had. he knows his stuff But last week I had BAD service because Angel wasn't there. The server had bought false food to us and we had to wait for proper food,The server did still come check for us We had to ask some others to fill our drinks, chips and salsa. If I try to order my record, I want three of enchilada she said it's too much for you??? I'm trying to keep the owner of the restorer. If someone knows their number, please send me an email. I had a great meal experience with order and food. The price is fair for the amount of food and food flavor fresh and hot. I ordered crispy and soft tacos, they came with rice and beans. I ordered frits and a small chicken a la carte. They added a page of chips and salsa to the order. I had enough to share with my family. It was delicious for each of us.

Finally got to check out Ruthie’s. Went at 5:30 on Saturday hoping we’d get there before the busier time. About half full with a good crowd at the bar watching the Astros. Ordered Banderas platter and my husband had chicken enchiladas. Didn’t feel like drinks so just got water which tasted straight from the tap with a slice of lemon which helped to cover the tap water flavor. The food was good and served quickly and hot. My platter included carnitas which was really REALLY tasty. Rest of the meal was good but nothing extraordinary. Next time I’ll try the fabled fajitas and hope it meets the reviews others gave reported. All in all a decent basic texmex experience and happy to have them in the neighborhood!
