Don Lalos Mexican - Sulphur Springs

Best Chile Verde. I grew up eating Mexican food and Don Lalos has the best Chile Verde Enchiladas I've ever had. You have a good customer service.

Good food, great place to go to every once and a while.

On March 24, 2016, my daughter and I went to Sulfur Springs for some business, and since it had been over six months since I last ate at Don's, we decided to stop by again. Once again, the food and service were outstanding. It's good to see that some places maintain their quality over time. On our next trip there, we’ll definitely stop by again. On April 10, 2016, our family returned, and once more, we enjoyed excellent service and fantastic food at prices that are comparable to other Mexican restaurants. Though I must say, the prices have gotten a bit out of hand, especially for drinks.

We were promptly greeted by our server Cristian as soon as we arrived. He was one of the best servers we encountered—friendly, quick, and very knowledgeable. The food was fresh, hot, and simply outstanding. I found the salsas to be mild, but they were packed with flavor. The chips were excellent, and both the corn and flour tortillas were fresh and had wonderful texture. We’ll definitely be returning to this spot in the Sulphur Springs area.

We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. Although we were out of town and it was quite busy, we didn't mind the wait. The staff was very friendly, and while there was a slight staffing shortage, we were patient. The atmosphere of the place was lovely. Overall, the food was excellent, and we enjoyed our visit.
