Crown & Anchor Lounge - Summerside

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, and the customer service is outstanding.

The fisherman's platter is delicious and offers great value for the price of $19.

We were here for Burger Love and enjoyed our meal and service. decided to try again and was so disappointed. My husband got a bow and the portion size was so small. I have a burger and pommes with Gravy. The burger was... good, the pommes were good, but the engraving was just terrible. Next to the food. I had one of the most uncomfortable servers I had since. I can't remember her name, but was an older lady who looks like she's been there for a while. I had to show another waitress (the younger girl) to fill my water again, because my server did not even come near our table during the whole meal. At the end of the meal, when we were ready to settle our bill, the younger waitress had to fly on our server. Our waitress finally comes to me, give me the debit machine and then go away! I couldn't believe the terrible service. It's bad enough not to even check on us and not make ourselves available, but simply run away when we regulate the bill is ridiculous. It won't go back soon.

Part of the hotel (which is terrible). Decor out dated but customer service was great, good beer selection and the food was also good. From butter chicken to salmon to fish and chips and Caesar salad, we enjoyed our meals. I'd come back. Prices are not bad.

My wife and I enjoyed an excellent dinner at Crown Anchor in Loyalist Country Inn. The Seafood Chowder was the best I ever had. It had a lot of seafood and it was not loaded with potatoes. That's the way seafood knowers could be. The service was very friendly and fast and another great feature was the beautiful music in the background. Not too loud; no advertising and great. It wasn't the stuff of the commercial radio station that many restaurants have. I want to go back there when I'm in Summerside for dinner.
